I currently have the iPhone 6s that came out last fall. I cracked my screen a month ago and am now at the point where I really need to get it fixed. I still have a warranty on my phone and am just curious as to how much it is going to cost for me to fix this. I have glass falling out near my home button, but don't know if that is considered more damage than just the screen.

A cracked screen is not covered by the warranty. The warranty only covers workmanship or materials and not damage.
If the only problem is the cracked screen and nothing else is damaged, it can be repaired for $129.
Not only does this fall outside the normal warranty, additionally Apple Care does not cover repairs for this type of damage.
Do you know if the glass is falling out around the home button if that is considered more?
Normal 1year warranty will not cover screen breakage - it's not due to normal wear use.
Physical damage is never covered like dunking your 6 in water...
Optional AppleCare 3 year warranty will not cover screen breakage either - unless you find a sympathetic ear from a Apple Genius person...
Only Apple Care Plus ➕ will cover the screen with a low copay.
If you are the type to be rough on your Apple devices, get the Apple Care Plus for peace of mind!

If you are speaking about damage then I would say yes it is considered more.
